The City of Cayce's 3rd annual Congaree Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010.
Presented by the City of Cayce and Wharton-Smith, Inc. the festival will be held at Granby Gardens Park located in the City Hall Complex at 1800 12th Street in Cayce.
The event will run from 11am to 7pm and will feature music from the James King Band, Flatout Bluegrass, Darlene & Reflections of Bluegrass, Flatland Express and the Covenant Bluegrass Band.

In addition to the great music, the Capital City Cloggers will perform, and there will be a Band Scramble contest, with prizes awarded.
The entire family will enjoy learning about America's rich Appalachian traditions with Mountain Music, Stories and Dance by Jeff Robbins.
There will also be a children's play area that includes a bouncy house and a 20-foot bouncy slide.

All activities are free of charge, except food and drink.
Everyone is invited to bring their lawn chairs or blankets, but coolers and pets are not allowed.
